After Dhaka Medical College Hospital and Apollo Hospitals Dhaka, CMH Dhaka has started their Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant in Bangladesh. However, this is the first centre in the country that started allogeneic transplant, a highly sophisticated and risky treatment option for some of the haematological malignant and non-malignant diseases and also for some immune disorders.

বিগত ২৪ এপ্রিল ২০১৯ইং রোজ বুধবার, রাজশাহী মেডিকেল কলেজে অবস্থিত আমীর উদ্দিন গ্যালারী তে এক সাইন্টিফিক সেমিনার অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। হেমাটোলজি বিভাগ, রাজশাহী মেডিকেল কলেজ ও হেমাটোলজি সোসাইটি অব বাংলাদেশ এর যৌথ উদ্দোগে এ সেমিনারের আয়োজন করা হয়। সেমিনারে বক্তাগণ রক্তরোগ বিষয়ে তাদের মুল্যবান বক্তব্য তুলে ধরেন, এসময় এ রোগ সংক্রান্ত বিষয়ে তারা ভিজুয়্যাল তথ্য উপস্থাপন করেন। একই সাথে রাজশাহী মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে একটি বোনম্যারো ট্রান্সপ্লান্ট (অস্থিমজ্জা প্রতিস্থাপন) স্থাপনের প্রয়োজনীয়তার কথা বলেন।
