Father of our beloved life member Professor Tashmim Farhana Dipta, Dr. Ashequr Rahman Khan, breathed his last at 2:30 am, 18 May, 2019. His Janazah will be prayed on 19th May (Sunday) after Zohr at Gulshan Azad Mosque. His body has been placed for the time being at United Hospital. 

The president Professor Md. Mahbubur Rahman and the secretary general Professor Abdul Aziz are hereby expressing deep sorrow and condolences for Professor Tashmim Farhana Dipta and her family on behalf of all of the members of the Haematology Society of Bangladesh. May Allah give their family the strength to absorb the shock and overcome the loss and grant his Jannah.
